The news is full of stories about the swine flu scare, even down here in Australia. Far more interesting to me is a New York Times article about training Mexican prosecutors in the emerging open court trial system, now being tried in at least four Mexican states. Overhaul of the Mexican justice system will do more for the development and economic well-being of Mexicanos than any amount of foreign aid.

Now, if we can just fix the schools...
